Sangkee Noodle Bowl is the newest addition of Win Signature Restaurants and is the marriage of Chinatown’s Sangkee Peking Duck House by Michael Chow and Win Signature Restaurants by Win and Sutida Somboonsong.
It all started back in March 2011 when Win & Sutida stopped by for lunch to eat at Sangkee Restaurant where they first went as college students over 20 years ago. They ran into owner Michael Chow and a friendly conversation soon turned into a business venture. Both decided to collaborate and Sangkee Noodle Bowl in Newtown Square, PA was born.
Michael Chow founded Sangkee Peking Duck House in 1980 and continued to open four more restaurants. His Hong Kong style cuisine was named in the “Top 100 Chinese Restaurants in USA” in 2006 and has dominated the title of best Chinese in Philadelphia for many years.
The Somboonsongs are no strangers to the food industry, operating five other suburban spots as Win Signature Restaurants (Mikado Thai Pepper, Teikoku, Azie, Azie on Main and Mixx). They have been feeding the Main Line area award-winning dishes for the past 20 years and our proud to bring you the newest member of the Win Signature family, Sangkee Noodle Bowl in Newtown Square, PA.
